Microsoft Office 365 Training Courses at your premises in Cambridgeshire from £55 per delegate
Microsoft Office 365 has gained in popularity over the last couple of years as organisations and individuals become more used to subscription based software.
What is Office 365?
Office 365 is essentially the familiar suite of Microsoft programmes, but purchased and maintained through a subscription service. With more and more of our activities, both social and business, moving onto the web, and with internet access becoming faster and faster, the opportunity for moving our business applications as well as our business documents online has now been properly realised. Following the lead taken by Google with their Google Docs, Microsoft has now developed its own online strategy known as Office 365. It is, in effect, a properly web-enabled version of Microsoft Office which can be stored either locally or accessed online remotely as required.
In a new model of licencing, Office 365 is delivered not as a once-only product but on an ongoing subscription arrangement. As a consequence all updates will be made immediately available and, with continuation of the subscription, the latest versions of all subscribed products will become instantly available.
One of the primary aims of Office 365 is to facilitate sharing of information and collaboration of geographically disparate teams. Several features have been included in different packages of Office 365 to assist with this including Lync, an online communication tool for instant messaging and webinars; a SharePoint site for team information and files; the option to create a public website; and to have Office 365 handle all emails.
Users may also choose to save their files on the SkyDrive. The SkyDrive is essentially a remote server managed by Microsoft onto which all files and documents may be saved. Consequently these files can be accessed from any place and machine that has internet access thereby facilitating the portability of work. These files are password protected and can be made available to defined groups of people as well as individuals.
Office 365 is also available as a reduced functionality application for use on tablets and smartphones.

We can provide training at your offices in Cambridge, Chatteris, Godmanchester, Huntingdon, St Neots, Soham, Wisbech and right across the County.
Microsoft Excel is far and away the most used office application across the UK, but many users are not getting the best from the software. The majority of users are self taught and may be quite proficient in the areas which they know about, but there are often aspects of Excel of which they are unaware. It is often said in training that “we don’t know what we don’t know” and this is very true of Microsoft Excel! The application is so comprehensive that it is difficult to understand all it is capable of without guidance. This is where a good structured Excel training course can help.
We deliver Excel training at 3 levels: Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced and can also tailor courses to suit your particular requirements by combining elements from each. To help determine the most appropriate level of training, we can provide you with a free Training Needs Analysis service. Just tick the boxes on our quick TNA form and email back to us. We will then analyse and advise on the correct program to suit the needs of your staff.
The best way to learn any software program is to actually use it. For this reason all of our Excel courses are very practical in nature, with tutor-led demonstrations followed by delegate exercises. In order to facilitate this skills-based teaching we can supply laptops if required. In this way you can use practically any office as an Excel training room for a day. You can view full details including prices on our Onsite Training page.
